Mark Alford During his 12 years as an internet strategist Mark has launched over 40 different organic ventures. In addition to his b2b and b2c ecommerce core competency, Mark has in-depth knowledge of multiple digital revenue models, including advertising, affiliate marketing and lead generation. Mark has served as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies, startups and entrepreneurs for branding, marketing and launch strategies. He has been a guest at the Google Adsense symposium as an advisor for new marketing and analysis tools. He has also served as an advisor to private equity and strategic buyers on acquisition targets and has served as an intermediary for owners in divesting their business assets. Mark graduated with honors in engineering from the University of Utah. He sits on the board of several tech companies.
Adam Schepps graduated with honors from Georgetown University where he earned bachelors degrees in both Finance and Accounting.
Prior to joining iBuySites, Adam worked as an investment banking analyst with Miller Buckfire & Co., one of the worlds leading company-side advisory firms specializing in complex financial restructuring situations including recapitalizations, acquisitions, sales and divestitures, and debt and equity financing transactions. His notable company-side advisory experience includes representing Standard Pacific Corp., OSI Restaurants, Foamex, and Pegasus Broadcast Television. Adam’s unique investment banking and strategic company-side advisory experience translates directly to iBuySites’ main goal of maximizing the value of our client’s businesses through the often challenging valuation and sales processes in light of today’s complex ecommerce landscape.
Luke Walton is a powerful business driver whose entrepreneurial instincts and clear vision have enabled a range of companies to experience rapid and sustained growth. Prior to joining iBuySites, Luke worked in the non-profit and personal fitness arenas. Drawing on his experience as an athlete and ambassador for the US National and Olympic rowing teams, Luke partnered and founded several health and fitness enterprises. These ventures have provided Luke with the opportunity to engage as a key player for several businesses throughout the digital environment. He has collaborated with graphic designers and advertising professionals to ensure peak website performance and understands the components and timing that are critical to making digital media work for its investors. Luke earned his MA in Political Studies at Cambridge University and a BA in Political Science at the University of California Berkeley. He proudly represented the United States in Athens, Greece as a member of the 2004 Olympic team. Luke currently serves on the Board of the San Diego Crew Classic, overseeing race operations.
Matthew Evert graduated with his bachelor’s degree from University of California Santa Barbara in Electrical Engineering and subsequently earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration. In his 19 year career at Hewlett Packard Inc, Matthew worked in nearly all functional roles of the high tech industry: Marketing, business development, software development, quality, finance, and project management. Working on the design of many of the laser and inkjet printers that HP has produced for nearly 20 years has required cross-industry relationships with software industry moguls such as Microsoft, Google, and Apple. Matthew’s breadth of knowledge in the high tech industry adds to his effectiveness of evaluating key technologies and business segments that present the best opportunities for growth and profit.
